Remember Eating Snow Ice Cream?
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Remember the days, you used to eat
snow ice cream? I sure do!! When it
was safer, cleaner air, the snow was
clean looking. One day, mom put on
her coat, boots and picked up a big
bowl. A big spoon was in the bowl. I
was curious about what Mom was going
to do with the bowl and spoon.
Remember eating Snow ice cream?

We didn't get to have it very often,
but when the snow was just right. I
see Mom reaching for the big bowl
and spoon. I could hardly wait
to taste it, oh so cold and yummy.
It's been so long, but I think I
remember her ingredients. I saw
Mom put in sugar, milk, vanilla
flavoring, mixed it all together,
put in the freezer.

Oh, it was so good, just as good
as the store bought kind. Oh what
a treat it was. Sweet Memories.
Remember eating Snow ice cream?

Author's Note:
I wonder if Mom remembers?

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
