Let The Teardrops Fall

Let the Teardrops fall

Let the Teardrops fall, doesn't mean you're weak.
You can be strong, still have tears running
down your cheek. Let the Teardrops fall, means
your only human, you have a heart, you have
compassion. You have feelings, not afraid to
show it, you're not a sissy, because you cry.

Let the Teardrops fall, you care, you love
someone. A tragedy happens. Though you don't
know them you still feel their hurt, pain.
Let the Teardrops fall.

Let the Teardrops fall, some men think it's not
being a man if he cries. It takes a man to admit
he cries, that shows he really cares, has a heart,
compassion, and understanding.
Let the Teardrops
fall, the Lord cried on the cross; he was a man.
He wasn't afraid to cry, or ashamed to.
To see men cry is ununusal, but not impossible.
Let the Teardrops Fall.

Let the Teardrops fall, for a man to cry shows he
has a heart, compassion, a gentle touch, understanding.
Women are more apt to show their feelings, have a
gentle touch. Reach out to hug someone in need. Or
a pat on the shoulder, or back. After all tears are
a stress relief, crying all the time, something else
may be wrong, more serious.
Let the Teardrops fall.

Don't be afraid to.
Let the Teardrops fall.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
