A Song is Not just Music

A song is not just music,

is not just a bunch of words or notes,

not just a score, or a bar and harmony,

it's more.

It tells a story:

"Lord I Lift Your Name On High

Lord I Love To Sing Your Praises

I'm So Glad You're  In My Life 

You came from Heaven To Earth

To Show the Way

My Debt to pay

From The Cross To The Grave

From The Grave To Sky

Lord I Lift Your Name On High"

It tells the story about Jesus,

how we praise him, that we're so glad

 to have him in our lives.

Our Love for Him.

It was mentioned in church,

our Pastor was talking about it.

He said, a song is not just a song

or just a bunch of words.

It tells a story.

I never really thought about it that way.

But, songs really do tell stories.
