The Lord Vs the Devil

The Lord Vs the Devil

The Lord vs the Devil, sorry to say the devil is
working overtime. He's sitting back, loving,
laughing about the evilness he's done. You have
to watch out, 'cause the devil comes in many
disguises. We have to hope and pray alot, to beat
that mean ole devil. Stamp him out, he'll lose
his fire and will to do evil.

The Lord vs the Devil, not only the Lord has his
work cut out for him. We do too, need to pray
more, work harder at it. Don't let yourself be
tempted to do evil, look forward to goodness. Get
out, go to church, come into the presence of the
Lord. You need to be saved and your soul.

The Lord vs the Devil, with the Lord at our side
and his Angels. The devil will surely lose. Coming
into the presence of the Lord, you'll feel such
love, peace, his amazing grace. Your heart, mind,
soul will feel so much love and much peace. You'll
find you can deal with life better, whatever comes
your way. Whether joy or sorrow, you will feel his
strength and guidance. He will teach you, lead you
down the right path. Keep our love and faith for
our Lord.

The Lord vs the Devil, the Lord will win
and stop the Devil. Goodness will triumph over evil.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
