A Rare Sunset

by Jean Mollett

Storms came thru this afternoon,
hours later toward evening. It was quiet.
While I was in my kitchen, looking out the
window. I noticed a beautiful rare sunset.
A rare sunset.

The lower part was light pink,
in the middle was a blueish green color.
The upper part was pink, later turning a
blueish purple.
A rare sunset.

Then following the skyline to the west,
I could see pink. It was a bright glowing
pink clear up to the sun. Where the sun sets,
it was real bright dark pink, but yet glowing
so bright. It's beautiful. You would have to
see it yourself. It's a sunset not often seen.
A Rare Sunset.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
