Soon It Will Be Halloween

Soon It Will Be Halloween

September is almost over, October will be knocking
at the door. The weather is starting to change a
little. Cooler weather will be arriving soon, I'm
sure everyones glad to see it. We'll be able to
turn the air off, open the windows, a nice cool
breeze come thru. Also to air out our homes,
maybe using just a fan and window. Soon it
will be Halloween.

Homes will be all decoratored soon, I've already
seen one this past week. There'll be pumpkins,
witches, haystacks, blackcats, many more scary
items to see. The kitchens will have delicious
aromas coming from it, scary cookies to eat,
maybe a cake or pie. People heading to the
stores to get costumes for their children.
Soon it will be Halloween.

Making arrangements for Halloween parties
here and there. Children getting excited,
know that it won't be long now. Halloween
is getting closer, soon to see them all
dressed up to go out Trick or Treating.
For some kids it may be their first time, excited,
but yet kinda scared. When the day arrives,
Parents try to have everything in order. Eat
supper, then have their outfits already set
out. Who's taking them?

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
