The Lord Works in Many Ways

The Lord Works in Many Ways

The Lord works in many ways;
something happened that Sunday afternoon,
March 7th, '04, at the 4:00PM showing, as
I went to go see the movie, Passion of the
Christ. It was at the Rivergate area. I had
my hubby  let me out while he went to park
the car. There was a small crowd at the doors
already, they were kinda scattered between the
lines. At first, I wasn't sure where the line
started or ended. So, I asked around to make sure.
The Lord works in many ways.

The Lord works in many ways,
While I was standing in line, a man came from
one of the other two lines and asked me if I needed a
ticket. I said yes, I'm waiting to get them now.
He handed me a ticket for the movie, Passion of
the Christ. He said, you can have this one, I
have extras. I didn't know what to say at first,
I was so surprised. I thanked him very much for
the ticket. He disappeared into the crowd. Then
another man asked me too. My hubby walked up
and I told him what happened. How nice of him.
The Lord works in many ways.

The Lord works in many ways,
while waiting in line, we thought we heard
something about the movie is sold out. So,
I asked around and it was true. I looked at my
hubby and said now what do we do? 'Cause we really
wanted to see the movie. Some people in front
were leaving. There were two screens showing the
same movie, so we were heading toward the office.
A lady came over and handed me a ticket for the
Passion of the Christ movie. How sweet of her.
The Lord works in many ways.

The Lord works in many ways,
Her church bought tickets, she had some
extra ones. She said I could have this one. I
thanked her for the ticket and told her that
she was a real sweetheart for giving it to me.
How nice and thoughtful of them two giving us
the tickets. That gave us two for the show.
We both were so excited and happy. Made my
day. Later, I saw them together going inside.
The Lord works in many ways.

Author's Notes:
I didn't get to find out what church
they were from. I hope they use this site
or visit it, I wanted to thank them again
with this poem.
