Special Memories

Special memories, each one of us may have a
special memory or memories. It could be something
that happened or was given to you as a child.
While growing up, or after you're an adult, with
your own family. Your parents seeing you while
being born or after. Or you waiting on your own
child being born. Watching your child discover
something new. Watching your parents with their
first grandchild.

Special memories;
Being there to hear your child's first words;
discovering toys. And those special memories
of them turning over, trying to situp. They
discover they can crawl, testing themselves.
And the most precious time, when you see them
taking that first step. More steps, they're
walking, soon to be running. Taking pictures
to see them in years to come or videos.
Special memories, you'll never forget.

Special memories, while we sit back, look at what
memories we have. We take for granted that every-
one has special memories, that's not always so.
In your prayers, remember those who don't, doesn't
even know the meaning of special memories. For they
need the Lord more,
Take care of them Lord.
Thank you, Lord.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
