Mom and Dad's Treasures

Mom and Dad's Treasures

Mom and Dad's treasures,

each room from wall to wall,

each room from floor to floor,

each room no more space,

Mom and Dad's treasures.

Mom and Dad's treasures,

each room is all they had,

each room full of treasures,

Mom and Dad's treasures.

Mom and Dad's treasures,

each room had a certain time,

each room had to be emptied,

Mom and Dad's treasures.

Author's Notes: The time came all

the children knew they had to empty

out the apartment.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
