Thought Newcomers Were Moving In (Haiku)

by Jean Mollett

Watching my window
Two House Sparrows add to nest
Tears up the nest leaves

2003

05/22/2003

Author's Note: I got the idea after watching the two House Sparrows working on the nest. Then I realized they just tore it up, instead.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
