Songs And Music

One Sunday morning at church, after we had
sung our songs. Pastor mentioned about songs,
music, and stories. He started talking about
Amazing Grace, this was the beginning of his
sermon. Cause it was one of the songs we sung.
He said, "As I read out loud, follow
along with me." It made me realize, that a song
does tell a story. I never really thought about
it that way before. I see songs, music in a
different way now, I appreciate them even more.
Even the country music singers are letting us
know, in the cover of their music.

With the words from a song and put the notes
of music together. Something wonderful has been
created. Listening to music while you work, makes
your day go by easier, calmer. Restless
nights, find some soft beautiful music to help
you to relax, off to sleep alot sooner. Music
will help your child calm down, to fall asleep
with ease. Music is said to even calm the soul
of a beast. Along with the Lord at our sides, too
bad that music wouldn't stop the devil.
Music is another wonder that's been
created by our God.
After all, God created people that
makes the songs and music.
Thank you, God. Amen.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
