Oh Dear, Printer Woes

by Jean Mollett

Oh dear, printer woes
she's gotten to where
I have to baby her now.
When, I want to print,
I have to pat her on the
left side and baby her.

Oh dear, printer woes
I say, okay Gal be good and
print this off for me.
Then when she does a good job,
I pat her on the left side
again and thank her. You
did a good job on printing.

Oh dear, printer woes
cause sometimes, she gets a
little stubborn on me. While
printing she'll make this drag
sound and then a thud. Throws
her little fits and stops right
in the middle of everything.

Oh dear, printer woes
Lights go flashing on the right
side of her. That's usually it,
I try again too soon. It
happens all over again. So, I
wait a little while and try
again, then she'll take the hint.
Hey, I better do it right this
time and do my printing job.

Author's Note: I know it's past due to get another, but I put it off. She's been a good one and I'll have to replace her soon. Even if she does get a little stubborn at times. I'll miss that after she's gone. I know it's kinda silly.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
