Sometimes People Wear Disguises

Sometimes People Wear Disguises

Sometimes people wear disguises, you may not
see a mask. They still wear disguises, but in
a different form. It could be someone close
to you or just someone you know, or just met.

Sometimes people wear disguises, sometimes
you see this person or persons in a certain
way. When you don't see them, they turn out
to be mean, cruel, maybe worse. Maybe they're
not that bad, turn out good, not evil. Some-
times, it happens in the strangest ways. Pray
to the Lord about it.

Sometimes people wear disguises, someone you
thought was good, it may be close friends.
Does something to you, betrays you. If you
believe in the Lord, have faith, love them.
Your suppose to forgive them, yes sometimes
it's hard to do. No matter the situation,
isn't always easy. Pray about it, call out
to our Lord.

Sometimes people wear disguises, you may
forgive, but you can never forget it. The
Lord says we have to learn to forgive and
forget. Yes, it may take time for that, in
the long run you will feel much better.
Because, all you would be doing is feeding
the hate built up inside you. Letting the
Devil take control of you. It could cause
you to do evil.

Sometimes people wear disguises, with the Lord,
Angels, family, friends to be by your side. To
help you to heal, it takes time, it take time.
It can't be done in five minutes. Someone close
to me is having a very rough time. Due to his
daughter kidnapped and murdered. He's doing
somewhat better, except he's lost his faith,
he's struggling so. I pray that he'll come back
into the presence of the Lord. To help unload
his heavy burden from his heart.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
