Little Miss Sneaky Pete (A Story)

by Jean Mollett

My big baby pup, thinks she's so sneaky.
I get so tickled at her, the things she does.
She'll go in the kitchen and check out her food bowl.
Maybe pick thru it, sniff it, look at it.
Then when she thinks  nobody's looking, she'll grab
a piece of food and head into the livingroom.

I'm back sometimes where she can't see me,
she don't care even if your lookin at her. After going
into the livingroom, she'll lay it on the carpet. Look
at it, play with it. Then, I'll walk in there and say to her:
What is that? I'll see her lookin' at me, then she'll
start acting kinda silly.

Gettin' all excited jumping around,
then with her front legs down in front. And her butt up in
the air. Waiting to see what I'll do next. I'll ease up close
and flick it away, she'll run after it, then a few minutes after that.
She grabs it and eats it. Now, my big baby pup, thinks it's a game.
3 years old, still alot of puppy in her. Now, ain't that something?

Author's Note: It is so cute the things she does.  It keeps ya laughing. One of these days I'll have a video camera. Then the fun really begins.
