Watching Turkeys

by Jean Mollett

Watching Turkeys,
Turkeys flock together, gobble together.
Whether they're traveling, feeding or strutting,
they always gobble at the same time.

Watching Turkeys,
How do they know to gobble at the same time?
Ever noticed? It makes you wonder. It's like
a built in time clock.

Author's Note: I saw some of the turkey tapes my hubby was watching. I didn't pay much attention to it before. The turkeys did gobble at the same time.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
