Why Do People Hate So?

Why do people hate so?

Does it matter our skin is different?

If you cut us, don't we all bleed the same?

Each person's blood is red.

Why do people hate so?

Does it matter our skin is a different color?

They could be pink, blue or poka dot,

it shouldn't matter, we all have a heart.

Author's notes:

Just because one bad apple is found in a barrel, doesn't mean that they're all bad.  I was watching Little House on the Prairie.  Laura's  father was helping an indian Chief and his son and children. This man had so much hate for the Indians, cause of what happened in the past.  Laura was a young child, when she said,  "Why Do People Hate So?"  This was what she said to her father.  It's something to think about.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
