Birds Nest In The Strangest Places!!

by Jean Mollett

Birds nest in the strangest places,
we've got some birds that like my
hanging basket flowers. Now there's
one that built a nest in a nap sack
in my storage shed. Have you seen any
strange places they built?

Birds nest in the strangest places,
whether it's a real hanging flower or
not. They will find a good place to
build their nest. The one on the front
porch, in the corner of the ceiling is
still empty.

Birds nest in the strangest places,
I sure miss seeing little Mama feeding
her little ones. They sure are busy
little birds. Birds are smarter than
ya think, they know which flowers get
watered and which don't.I found
that out, the hard way.

Author's Note: Red says, thanks for reading the poems we've writtntogether. He'll be back around once in awhile. Red had a good time this afternoon. Oh yes, he did remember Gal. She was there too. Red says see ya around. Now it's Gal's turn to take over. Gal said, Hello to everyone.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
