The Lord's Work

The Lord's Work

As I sit down on my front porch, on a nice cool day,
Looking around at things the Lord Created.
What wonderful work, the Lord has done.
The earth, land, and water to place all,
Of his beauty growing  trees, flowers.
All kinds of animals to cover the earth,

Light, to brighten the sky,
Dark for night , all to rest, sleep.

The Lord made Man, then Woman,
So that he wouldn't be alone.
The Lord did all his work in six days,
Rested on the seventh day, the Lord said this is good.
This is just some of the Lord's work, he has done.
Oh, the wonders of his work.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
