the potty dance

the potty dance,
just as your child tells you,
I need to go potty Mommy or Daddy.
I watch my puppy letting me know
she has to go potty, like now.

the potty dance,
I take her out on a regular set
times. her potty training is going
well, thank goodness. when I got her,
she was already used to going outside.
but there are times she has to go and
I certainly will know about it. a little
prance around here and there.

the potty dance
she'll start whining, then get louder
if ya don't come soon. and just resently,
she has started going to the door, sit,
then whin and look back at me. and off
we go, then afterwards play time.
and you'll surely know it too.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
