The Beauty Of Poetry

Ah the beauty of Poetry, some may rhyme,
some may not. Words written on paper,
thoughts of love, beauty, fun or sadness,
many others. Seems to touch our lives somehow,
in so many ways. Touches our hearts.
In poems there may be a story, or just
something funny that happen.

Somehow the words, just seem to fall
together, meant to be there.
At times the words come flying out,
other times you have to ponder awhile.
It's good to put it down on paper, to
help themselves thru a tragedy, ease the pain.
Or if it's a happy occasion, to express it.
In hopes of not just helping themselves,
to help someone else in need.

No matter what poetry, seems to brighten
our days and ease our nights.
Telling about it's beauty, in it's own way.
It's about our feelings, thoughts, of
everyday in life, for everyone to enjoy.
No matter your mood, pick up a book of Poetry,
to brighten your mood, day. Or just write a
poem, share it with someone today, tomorrow.
The Beauty Of Poetry.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
