Out with the Old, In with the New

Out with the Old. In with the New

In November, Thanksgiving came and went so quickly. It's
been December for awhile, but yet seems even shorter.
Christmas has already come and gone so quickly.
Here comes a New Year, just days away. This year
2002 has been just as sad as 2001, but yet
somehow. There has been good come from it all.
Just hope and pray this year coming is a lot
better, not so much heartaches or none.
Out with the Old, In with the New.

Ya try not to look back too far in the past, cause
it hurts too much. Many are looking more to the
future, a new year ahead. So many things have happened,
in last few years. Instead of all these killings,
wars, attacks, hopefully to see a bright light
ahead. Something good, peaceful. We need to come
together, worship our Lord, praise him, love him.
Give thanks with a grateful heart, be more thankful
than we are. The Lord, in his own way. Is trying to
tell us, show us, we need to change our ways. Before
it's too late.
Out with the Old, in with the New.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
