The Loveliness of Mothers

The Loveliness of Mothers

MOTHERS are a gentle touch of stardust,
moon, and sun, puffy clouds and deep blue
skies, soft prayers when day is done.
MOTHERS are the rainbows that always follow
showers and the special part of springtime so
filled with lovely flowers.

MOTHERS are the halo God leaves upon the earth-
the precious guardian angel that is given us at birth.
MOTHERS leave such happiness so deeply in our hearts
that every day is Mother's Day for the joy her love imparts.

She openth her mouth with wisdom: and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

PROVERBS 31:26

This was on our Worship folder at church,
thought I'd share with everyone.

Longing for Mothers

For those that have a Mother,
please treat her with Respect and Love.
Whether you get along or not, she's still
your Mom. Cause someday she may not be there,
due to illness, or sudden death. Now-a-days,
there's so much conflict between children and
their parents. Either way the children and
parents need to talk with each other. In a
calmly fashion. Have family night weekly.
Don't be afraid to listen, instead of talking
so much. Remember some have no Mother. Think
about those that don't and add to your prayers.

This part is from Me.
Jean

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
