When Barney's in Town
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By J. Mollett
Other Poems by J. Mollett

When Barney's in town, the children jumping
with joy, excitement. Can't wait to get there
to see Barney, he always draws a big crowd.
Just mention Barney, kids looking for him. A
gaint purple dinosaur, the children just love
him. Who would have ever thought?
Barney was in town Saturaday.

When Barney's in town, the news was talking
about Barney being in town. Children dancing
and singing along with Barney. There's all
kinds of products with Barney on it, children
must have or want them. Just ask a child who
Barney's. They will tell you real fast, who
he is. Pray for the children who doesn't even
know Barney, will probably never see him.
They need to have such joy too.
A gaint purple dinosaur.
When Barney's in town.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
