The Beauty Of Tomatoes

The beauty of tomatoes,
slicing up one to make a sandwich I
noticed something about them; never
really paid that much attention before.
After washing, cut the top core, and
bottom off, I started slicing the tomato.

The beauty of tomatoes,
as I sliced it, I laid it on a saucer. I
thought wow, tomatoes have a special
design built in them. Each slice has
a space with seeds, dividers I guess
ya call them. They can be from two up
to ten and they're really pretty. Check it
out next time ya use one for something.
Depends on the size of it too.

The beauty of tomatoes,
not only do they taste good, they look
good in the dishes ya make. They go with
just about everything that's cooked or
just in salads, sandwiches. Try them with
foods that ya never had before. Oh so good.
Something else that's boggling to the mind,
for years I always have known tomatoes as a
vegetable. I remember eating them like an
apple, as a child. Now a days, the tomato
is considerd a fruit. It's always been
a vegetable, not a fruit. They're not what
ya call sweet, like fruit. Who would have
thought? A tomatoe is fruit!!

Author's Note: Most important,
they're good for ya too.
