Unusual Sunset
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 2 times

Other Poems by J. Mollett

After having some rough storms passing through,
it finally started settling down. The weather
had calmed down and it was quiet, sure glad
of that.
Unusual sunset.

I was finishing up supper, I was at the sink.
I noticed the sun was setting, the different
colors and patterns caught my eye. Hopefully
alot of people saw it too.
Unusual sunset.

The bottom part of the sunset was pink, in
the middle was a blueish green. The top part
was pink, later it turned a blueish purple.
I looked toward the east. As I did,I noticed
the pink was getting bright, like a glowing
tint. Then where the sun set, it was a dark
pink, yet a bright glowing pink. It was
beautiful, not many sunsets are like that.
Unusual Sunset.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
