Lisa K

she hasn't learned from God she can not hide
recently she tried to commit suicide
thank God she didn't succeed
for this desperate soul we must intercede
oh, the absence of material things and past wealth
terribly ill, but no concern for her health
Lisa lashes out at those trying to assist
pray for her the devil to resist
I beseech you all --- lift her up in prayer
so she will know God's presence is there
pray she won't quit and give up hope
my friends, she's at the end of her rope
she's empty inside -- pray for her to be filled
filled with the Spirit and her sobs to be stilled
don't stop praying for her precious soul today
God desires a personal relationship with Lisa K

1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

Romans 8:25-27
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

About the Poet
I grew up in rural North Carolina, married for 38 years to my best friend and soulmate, Allen, who retired almost 17 years ago from the Air Force after 24 years of service to our beloved America. We have a daughter, Ashley ( and son-in-law, Kris) and, a son, John, and, our two beautiful grand daughters, Amelia and Haley, and Isaac, our only grandson, all blessings from God. We have four cats; Mr. Peabody, Missy, aka Middle Kitty and Tabby, aka Little Kitty, and Gracie. I've seen a lot of hard times and God has always been here for me to see me through them. I am a vessel God can use to help others in need. If I could be described in one word, it would be that I am an encourager.
