The Game Called Identify

There is a game I love to play
'tis played almost every day
fun to play while in the car
whether going near or far
a sure cure for a case of road rage
to play one doesn't even need pen or page
take a look out of the glass
look at the license plates as you pass
just follow this example --- J33-RSI
don't know about you, but I spy
Jesus 33- Risen Savior Indeed
how about this one --- B54-OTB
Believe --- Only The Best
it's up to you to make up the rest
sometimes the numbers are significant
it's really about the Omnipotent
an exercise to help you think fast
you'll find your smile will a long time last
your mind will clear and your spirit will lift
from God through me to you enjoy this gift
just one more for the takin'
H13-QYB is Honey---Quit Your Belly-Achin'
just remember, God has a sense of humor
Oh, one more thing before it's too late!
what's the message on your own license plate?

About the Poet
I grew up in rural North Carolina, married for 38 years to my best friend and soulmate, Allen, who retired almost 17 years ago from the Air Force after 24 years of service to our beloved America. We have a daughter, Ashley ( and son-in-law, Kris) and, a son, John, and, our two beautiful grand daughters, Amelia and Haley, and Isaac, our only grandson, all blessings from God. We have four cats; Mr. Peabody, Missy, aka Middle Kitty and Tabby, aka Little Kitty, and Gracie. I've seen a lot of hard times and God has always been here for me to see me through them. I am a vessel God can use to help others in need. If I could be described in one word, it would be that I am an encourager.
