Righteous King

You turn darkness into light,
know about my every plight,
fill empty barns with golden grain,
drench the thirsty soil with rain,
unplug ears that cannot hear,

Bring hope to men consumed with fear.
You answer those who fast and pray,
and trust You when skies are gray.
You never fail the chosen few
who bear their cross and follow You!
You died to save one like me,
from a dreadful penalty.
words can't convey my appreciation,
my heart is filled with adoration.
Christ Jesus You are everything,
Savior, Lord and Righteous King!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
