I slip and stumble, trip and fumble,
but in one thing I am sure,
Jesus loves me flaws and all
because His love is pure.

I walk by faith, not by sight
even though it can be scary,
but I believe and can attest
that my Lord is guiding me.

I shed tears of joy because
I'm grateful for salvation...
despite my ups and downs,
He receives my adulation.

I serve a righteous God
who is never cross with me...
grace and goodness are dispensed
from His throne of love and mercy.

There's no greater assurance
than being in God's plan...
I confidently trust the Lord
to complete what He began.

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
