Unwrap The Gifts

Unwrap the gifts of love,
gentleness, charity,
compassion and mercy;
these are freely given
to open and share
with your fellowman
anytime, anywhere!
in our hearts we honor
and celebrate the Lord;
amid boughs of holly
praise Him in accord.
Shout Alleluia one and all
worship God on high,
Jesus, Savior of mankind,
to save us had to die.
but He's alive and well
and beckons men of clay,
to turn away from sin
and follow Him each day.
the gifts that you unwrap
keep giving all year thru,
and our transformed lives
reveal what God can do!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
