He Loves Me

He Love Me

He loves me all the time...

If I have a sunny disposition,
or in a difficult position,
when I wear a sullen frown
or when I'm up and down...
If I succeed, if I fail,
when I'm healthy, when I'm frail...
He loves me when I'm standing tall,
or when I fumble, slip and fall.
Why does He, I do not know,
I'm just glad He loves me so!
To prove His love He died for me
on a mount called Calvary...
He's patient and full of grace,
orders my steps and sets the pace.
He even turns gray skies fair
and follows me everywhere.
Not only did He set me free,
He identifies with me!
Knows my heartache and despair,
His mercy is beyond compare.
I hereby publicly attest,
and if by now you haven't guessed,
Thru CHRIST JESUS I am blessed!

He loves me all the time...

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
