No Trespassing

No Trespassing

There's a secret sea
where fishing is forbidden,
God knows its location

and has it safely hidden.

Its water is polluted,
do you know the reason why?
it contains the ugly sins
of folks like you and I...

God says, "no trespassing"
and we dare not disobey...
in the sea of forgetfulness
God tossed our sins away.

Jesus bore our sins
and freely took our place;
He died upon the cross
to save the human race!

Believe not the accusations
of the lying enemy...
remind him that your sins
are buried out at sea!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
