Where Do You Turn

Where do you turn when you've done all you can,
discouraged and fed up with the antics of man?
Do you wring your hands and give up the fight,
exhausted from struggling through every plight?
Or do you believe when all's said and done
there's refuge and hope when you turn to God's Son?

Christ Jesus is the answer, He'll provide rest,
and remains faithful through all trials and tests.
He'll order your steps and lighten your load
on life's often hard and uncertain road.
So where will you go when all's said and done?
I pray to Christ Jesus, God's only Son!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
