Adorned in Pink

Adorned in Pink

Pink cotton candy streaks
made the twilight sky unique...
the fiery glow left me in awe,
mesmerized by what I saw!
could almost hear angels sing
around God's throne gathering.
when the cloak of night descended,
my euphoric moment ended!

Note:I was drawn outside one eve at dusk because the sky was so breathtaking!   Inspired to write this poem thereafter, & described what I saw & felt at the time.  I often try to imagine what heaven must be like!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
