Stolen Hope

Stolen Hope

A heart that's bruised and swollen,
having its hope stolen,
requires tender loving care
to restore it from despair.

please believe God's precious touch
miraculously can do so much;
the healing ointment He applies
to a wounded heart that cries,
helps the pain to subside
and over it He will preside.
your heartache give to God above
who will heal it with His love;
then His peace within you'll know,
and once again hope can grow!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
