Cradled and Embraced

Cradled and Embraced

He formed me in seclusion,
chose the hour of my birth,
my glorious heavenly Father
had a plan for me on earth.

In the hollow of His hand
I'm cradled and embraced,
like a chick under feathered wings
I've found my hiding place.

His grace has sustained me,
I've rest within my soul,
my spirit is at peace
since my Father's in control.

What tribute can I pay
to honor God above?
He is perfect in His ways,
so worthy of my love....

Psalm 139:15&16  "You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in my mother's womb.  You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in Your book.  Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed."

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
