Mother

No amount of money can
buy her warm embrace,
and nothing in this world
can ever take her place.

Her sacrifices demonstrate
her heartfelt dedication,
and to God we're grateful
for her endless motivation.

The warmth of her caress
melts away our fears,
and her edifying words
are like music to our ears.

Her love can't be measured
by standards here on earth...
only God in heaven knows
precisely what she's worth.

We fondly remember those
who have passed away,
and to mothers everywhere,
we acknowledge you today! (c)

GOD BLESS MOTHERS EVERYWHERE!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
