Beguiled

Beguiled

Be careful to whom you lend an ear,
for satan's whispers come in clear...
he'll twist words, lie to you,
instill condemnation and guilt too!

He'll even suggest you misunderstand
the word of God and His plan...
his lies always sound so true,
they are meant to deceive you!

To discredit the Lord is his aim,
to steal, kill and destroy his game.
be wise and not beguiled,
thru the blood you're reconciled.

Resist satan's whispers and see,
in the name of Jesus he must flee..

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
