In the Hollow of God's Hand

The water cannot drown us
even in a raging flood...
nor can any weapon prosper,
we're covered by Christ's blood!

The darkness cannot scare us
we're shielded by His light...
the enemy shall not prevail
by the power of God's might.

The fire cannot burn us,
with Christ we can withstand...
we're in a place of safety
in the hollow of God's hand!

Trials and test will come,
it's a fact we must face
when we submit to Jesus
by God's ever present grace!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
