Sunshine and Hope

Life can be mundane
unless you see each day
as a golden opportunity
to give God's love away!
don't wake up each morning
with a ho hum attitude,
instead let God replace it
with a heart of gratitude.

You can share God's joy
dispelling gloom and doom,
and bless hurting people
by brightening up a room!

Spread sunshine and hope
to any lonely soul,
restore a little confidence
that ugly words stole.

You could make a difference
in someone's wounded heart,
when God deposits in you
thoughtful deeds to impart.

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
