Introduced to God's Son

Introduced to God's Son

Count me NOT among branches
that wither on the ground
having fallen from trees
now scattered all around.

Count me as one clinging
to Jesus Christ the Vine,
serving, and seeking
His divine will, not mine!

Count me as a vessel
in all I say and do,
on earth for one reason,
God's purpose to pursue!

Count me on a mission
to share what God has done
when he saved me by grace
and introduced me to His Son!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
