Treasury of God

Treasury of God

Trust not in institutions
tainted by evil men, where
the rancid smell of greed
is a stench in heaven.

Deposit in God's treasury
insured by Him alone,
where possessions more valuable
you will forever own.

There's no deceptive methods,
or endless lies and pretense,
pollution, corruption or
other vile intents.

Your deposits are secure
in God's vault forevermore,
no defiled human hands
have access to His door!

No thieves or liars,
murderers or molesters,
can enter God's treasury
or touch one of His investors. (c)

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
