Majesty and Beauty

Idols made of wood or stone
are fabricated by men,
but the God we worship
lives and reigns in heaven!

Majesty and beauty surround Him,
His works are evident in creation,
but the eyes of many are blind
and they'll not give adoration.

Let the sea, fields and forests
therefore rejoice and proclaim
the glory of our Father
and praise His holy name!

The Lord will return and then
every tongue shall confess,
and every knee shall bow down
before our King, Christ Jesus!

About the Poet
Christian since 1973, widowed in 2007, but by the divine appt. of God, I married a wonderful, godly widower in Oct. 2010. Three grown, married sons and eight grandchildren. My first love is Jesus who inspires my pen, for apart from Him I can do nothing! I desire to honor the Lord and edify readers thru poetry He inspires.
