Unworthy

Unworthy, unworthy the lepers cry

Unworthy, until the day he will die

The leprosy of sin causes all shame

The sins of which we are to blame

Is there no one to care, to save from this dying?

Christ alone, in his life he was trying

But it was in his death he made the way

For cleansing for each new day

Unworthy we may be always in self

Made worthy in the Lamb, given of himself

Washed in the blood of the Lamb, hung on a cruel cross

Our salvation secured from his great loss

Our salvation secured from his great loss

Unworthy (c)2013  Quentin Clingerman
