Eighty Candles on My Cake

Eighty Candles on My Cake

Eighty candles all aglow on the birthday cake so bright

Eighty candles all alight; , what display;  dazzling delight

Eighty candles all ablaze; all those striped candles; what a sight!

What a blow with help it was to put them all out

Each candle represents a year of God's goodness, mercy, and grace

A wonderful Christ centered life until I forever look on His face.

Eighty Candles on My Cake(c)2012 Quentin Clingerman

Note: My three daughters gave me a SURPRISE birthday party.  It was such a great time. Made turning eighty feel good!
