It Is Finished
"It is finished," a final last cry from the cross Jesus gave up his spirit to his Father Not in as it is ended, over, Christ had failed But as it is complete, our redemption is assured! God became flesh that He might redeem us unto Himself! By faith we accept His imputed righteousness when we confess our sins Forsaking them for eternal value By faith we walk with Him and His Spirit imparts His righteousness in our hearts We are transformed as we walk in obedience The scars of sin may remain a lifetime But His grace becomes sufficient We are at peace with the Eternal Think awhile on that! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Think awhile on that!

About the Poet
I am a retired educator. Now 85 years of age. I live in Maryland. I am the father of three ladies and thirteen grandchildren. Four grandchildren now married. I have two great grandsons, Koi Jon and Quinn Manu and a great granddaughter,Sephira Jade.
Poems are an expression of how I think and feel. Variety in either case!
