VA Tech Shootings

Reminded once again of man's fallibility

How the mind can play such terrible tricks

Self deception, self absorption, self destruction

Poured out such tragic devastation

On the campus of a well respected institution

We grieve with those who mourn their loss

And pray for those who lie injured

Grieve too for the family of the shooter

Whose sense of loss and betrayal must

Bring a sense of suffocation that burns

Their hearts and minds

May God grant peace to the now unconsolable
