Autumn Calls

In cool crisp voice, Autumn calls

Beckons all to hear the sounds of falling leaves

After turning shades of russet to gold

Harvests of apples, grapes, corn, pumpkins orange

Chrysanthimums of various hues, pansies bright,

Snapdragons too

With Harvest moons of bright orange red

Breezes blow hints of winter's cold

But Indian summer prevails until first snow

Indian summer prevails until first snow

Autumn Calls (c)Quentin Clingerman
