Concussion

Walking carefully on icy driveway

Not enough

Found myself flat on my back

Reached for the dropped newspaper

Walked inside, meandered through the apartment

Felt blood on the back of my head

Trip to ER in ambulance

CONCUSSION

Very woozy

Head spinning when rolling over

Stomach churning as well

Now a black eye!

Not being able to drive

Staggering at times

Staying quiet mostly

Staying quiet mostly

Concussion (c) 2009 Quentin Clingerman
