Transfiguration

Transfiguration
In bold and brilliant white
They appeared on the mountain
The three in unearthly light
Held heavenly conversation

Three others amazed, bewildered
Threw themselves to the ground
Without comprehension
Until a word from Christ

Is it not the same with us
Who along life's way
Receive a vision so bright
We are stopped in awesome dismay

Until a word from Christ
And we are transformed
In His transfigured presence
To do His will on earth

To do His will on earth
